The dynamic duo twins in all of esports has just announced their retirement recently at Dreamhack Denver. Jason and Justin Brown also known as Roy and Lunchbox are putting their 10 year Halo esports career to bed. The twins go all the way back to Halo 2 in 2007. They first started competing for Team 5k but didn’t really start to gain their fame and notoriety until 2008 while playing for Team Instinct. The roster for Team Instinct consisting of both twins, Roy and Lunchbox dominated in 2008 collecting more than $60,000 as a team. With each year that passed Roy and Lunchbox became role models and respected players within the Halo community. They were placing in the top 5 at many events, consistency was definitely in their favor. Team Instinct later disbanded ans Roy and Lunchbox started their new journey with Evil Genius. While representing Team Evil Genius they had dominated the competition and had achieved six 1st place finishes winning them a total of $176,000 dollars. This young gun squad was finishing on top consistently at most events they competed in. The Evil Genius roster continued to perform big at events and won its most recognized one, the XGames defeating Counter Logic Gaming! This was probably one of their biggest wins of all time winning an XGames gold medal and $15,000 dollars! Despite Roy and Lunchbox’s extremely successful career, retirement was being tossed around. Dreamhack Denver had received confirmation that it would be Roy and Lunchboxes very last Lan event together. Dreamhack got wind of their retirement and surprised them and did an amazing job with a video collage while remembering some of their big moments over the past 10 years.
With the big announcement from MLG and their 2018 HaloWC tournament schedule and roster changes going crazy, the man himself Lunchbox decided he wasn’t done. Their new roster is consisting of @Lunchbox @aPureGangster @NNeptuunE and @MLGACE. Many members are extremely excited for this because we are getting a roster of champions and getting our role model back. This team has been extremely hyped on twitter and definitely one to watch for coming into our 2018 HaloWC season starting with MLG Orlando February 16-18!
