Doug Censor Martin also known as FaZe Censor, owner of Next Threat and 2011 MLG Call of Duty champion announced his team will no longer be competing. This came as a huge surprise to everyone due to the overwhelming amount of success this team had in such a short time. Starting at CWL Dallas the team Next Threat made it through the open bracket and eventually into pool play. They showed their potential as a team by defeating top teams in Call of Duty esports such as Team SiNister and Lightning Pandas. The next event they competed in was the Northern Arena Showdown which was an outstanding event for the team pushing them onto 4th for their pro point standings. Fans near and far were excited for Censor and his team because the team chemistry was there! After this event, roster changes started happening. esports teams began to take notice of the amazing talents that the players presented. Doug was left with an empty roster. The players Nagafen, Methodz and Rickyy now all are playing for a new team or are currently looking for one. In recent YouTube videos by Doug he talks about what happened and poses the question “Will he still compete”? He answers this question later in the video that he is not done that he will be working diligently to find a new roster to compete at future Call of Duty events for the 2018 season.
